Godless by Ann Coulter

I chose this book because it covers many important issues. The facts it has about things like abortion, evolution, and other political, religious, and moral issues. This book is would be important to save because it offers contrary viewpoint to many issues, and whether or not you agree with them offers new insight to those issues. Godless talks about many issues that I feel very strongly about and has helped me gain a deeper understanding of those issues. Because of the different, and sometimes controversial, viewpoints that Coulter offers Godless is an important book.

Green Hell by Steve Milloy This book is also important for the alternative views it has. In today's world where everyone is trying to "out-green" each other, nobody external image green-hell.jpgthinks about some of the negative effects. Ethanol sounds great until you realize it still emits carbon and takes tons of corn to produce. That leads to less corn for people which leads to higher prices in anything that uses corn and more people are left hungry. The importance lies in the facts that we need to stop "going green" befor it destroys us. From reading this I learned the downside of green and how the green leaders, like Al Gore, don't care about being green and just want the green in your wallet. Because of the surprising facts in this book is important.
